Default Who has an ABS Pump failure??

Turns out my ABS pump is bad, seems like a pretty common problem on e36s, the wiring corrodes. I plan on just getting a used one and re-wiring it.

If anyone is interested, might start selling re-wired pumps for a small price + core

Hatch - How much do you want for the pump? I can find them locally for about 20.

So when you part it out, what's next in store? I bet you I can find you a nice peel p50.

Just tow it home like this:

Lol I don't care what you think. You don't give me any respect. Don't expect any in return.

Mav, I'm constantly amazed at the number of people you piss off with your bull****. It's very intriguing, it's like you try to sound like a moronic jackass.

I've got to give you props though. You're quite skilled at displaying your ignorance!

I tried seeing things from your point of view, but I couldn't get my head that far up my ass.

There is a lot things you don't know. If you stayed in school, and didn't drop out, you would've understood the joke.

The wiring doesn't corrode.. What happens is that there is a little circuit board that connects to the wiring harness. That board is not supported well enough, and given enough time it will flex until it cracks, which breaks the connections for the ABS pump. It takes about 4 or 5 solders, and is pretty easily corrected. There are several long time BMWCCA members that will repair it at basically no cost, or very little cost. That most common fix I've seen is to actually cut several mm out of the board, and just re-wire the whole thing with wiring.

Mine is in this state.. I just haven't been bothered enough by it to mess with removing it to fix it.

Yea the soldering is the easy part, removing it isn't hard either, just a PITA.
