I also added two days ago the ///M hatch spoiler (that also came from factory but was stollen) that really changed a lot the looks of the trunk. Now the front bumper and roof spoiler are from the BMW aerodinamic package (this front bumper looks better then the ///M one in my opinion...it has the same price but I choose it because the ///M one can be seen everywhere, the one from the aero package si kind of rare) the rear bumper, hatch spoiler and side skirts (twisters) are ///M. I'm sorry I cannot add other pics with my car (the back, details, etc) but when I'm trying to upload other pics I keep reciving this message: "Exceeds your quota by 38.2 KB". I only uploaded 2 pics (the ones above). To put other pics I have to delete those? I dunno... | | | 12-03-2006, 09:27 PM | #5 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2003 Location: Greenville, SC Posts: 9,356 | Quote: Originally Posted by MrAlex I'm sorry I cannot add other pics with my car (the back, details, etc) but when I'm trying to upload other pics I keep reciving this message: "Exceeds your quota by 38.2 KB". In 1'st of january Romania will become a member of European Union. That doesen't mean that Romania is NOT in EU, for it has been for thousents of years!!! Europe is Europe and Eu Union is Eu Union. You can find both spoilers on www.realoem.com. Those parts are not specific for EU. You can order those parts from anywhere in the world as the parts are made by the Bavarian constructor specially for this car as you will see on realoem. BTW: The roof spoiler has also stop lights incorporated. __________________ Luv My Beemer /oOO (|||)(|||) OOo\ | | | 12-04-2006, 04:40 PM | #12 | Senior Member Join Date: Nov 2004 Location: Bremerhaven, Germany Posts: 977 | Quote: Originally Posted by MrAlex I live in Romania, in Bucharest. Heck, even France and Germany weren't part of the EU until quite recently, because the EU didn't exist. No matter. All that is going to get cleared up in an little more than an eye blink, historically speaking. That's crazy. I am pretty sure there were decent, high brightness, red LEDs when the spoiler was designed: BMW could have used them and saved some space. But they can be a conservative bunch. I recently spent about half a day looking for some more of the thin-wall, plastic tubing BMW used to protect their wiring harnesses. I had a hard time finding anyone who had the stuff. I am told that German electricians once used a lot of it, 20 or 30 years ago, but abandoned it for easier and faster alternatives. I finally found some at the local Bosch service center. It is run by a guy who is close to retirement and, lucky for me, doesn't seem to throw anything away. The only thing I can find from BMW is bulkier, split, ribbed tubing. | | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
