But, they told me that they couldnt source a small white 90 degree plastic part that connects to the wiper blade. Anyone have any ideas on what this is? | | | 02-16-2010, 03:53 PM | #2 | Member Join Date: Jul 2005 Location: Atlanta, GA Posts: 97 | Ok, I think I have found it on RealOEM but can anyone find the time to take a picture of it. All you would need to do is pop up the rear flap on the wiper and take a picture of it item. But dont touch it, its fragile! Thanks ti people! | | | 02-16-2010, 11:46 PM | #3 | Senior Member Join Date: Sep 2007 Location: asdfasdf Posts: 10,002 | the one here attached to the rubber hose? it's for the washer fluid for the rear wiper | | | 02-17-2010, 12:48 AM | #4 | That's not Millpoint Blue Join Date: Apr 2005 Location: BNA Posts: 3,161 | That looks like something that could be " MacGyver-ed" if you can't get a replacement. __________________ Real men know how to SEARCH! But...I have that little black part. Its the part that the black part snaps into. I was told it was white and plastic. Hummm...there is an abandoned ti near my house. I may run over there and take a look. Thanks again for the picture. | | | 02-17-2010, 02:11 AM | #6 | That's not Millpoint Blue Join Date: Apr 2005 Location: BNA Posts: 3,161 | Based on the wiper blade & motor that I have in my hand, and the diagram on realoem.com, I don't think there's any white plastic part there. Perhaps they meant somewhere else along that particular hose run? __________________ Real men know how to SEARCH! It's fragile, and a part of the wiper motor. I broke mine when removing the rear wiper, so I had to replace the whole motor from a junk yard ti. __________________ 1996 318ti - 2000 Z3 2.3 - 2012 MINI Cooper Hatchback | | | 02-17-2010, 05:11 AM | #8 | Senior Member Join Date: Sep 2007 Location: asdfasdf Posts: 10,002 | yup, you're gonna need a new wiper motor, if you want to snag the part of the abandoned ti it's a 14mm for the wiper nut and 3 10mm bolts behind, work fast so the cops don't catch you *disclaimer: you didn't hear it from me | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
