The Schrick Cams are being removed and the engine has Supersprint Headers, Magnaflow Resonators, Supersprint Exhaust, UUC 8.5lbs flywheel and E34 M5 clutch kit. Here are pictures from Saturday with a partial installation setup. I will take more pictures tomorrow when we go out to do a test drive and photo shoot. | | | 08-06-2006, 09:51 PM | #6 | Member Join Date: Jul 2006 Location: Omaha, NE Posts: 59 | Beautiful Nice tight install. | | | 08-07-2006, 06:10 AM | #7 | Senior Member Join Date: Nov 2005 Location: çî†ÿ øf åNgëL§, CA Posts: 5,314 | I will stop sometime this week and check it out. The front bumper and drivers side headlight has to be installed. The owner, Joe, changed the engine oil this morning. He was driving around the block with no front bumper and the twinscrew whine was hella loud. It was sweet. He broke the tires loose on 2nd gear too. If there is time we're going to route the throttle body cable and the hose coming out from the top of the valve cover. | | | 08-07-2006, 09:46 PM | #9 | Junior Member Join Date: Jul 2006 Location: Los Angeles, Glendale, Eagle Rock Posts: 16 | More Pics! | | | 08-07-2006, 11:30 PM | #10 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2006 Location: Berlin, Germany Posts: 258 | how much $ didya drop on that bimmer? __________________ | | | 08-07-2006, 11:34 PM | #11 | Junior Member Join Date: Jul 2006 Location: Los Angeles, Glendale, Eagle Rock Posts: 16 | Quote: Originally Posted by Kraln how much $ didya drop on that bimmer? | The 332ti is not mine. This is what I know... The owner had a 318ti and bought a wrecked 98 M3 that was rolled over. He installed the engine and transmission. The owner is a BMW technician and shop manager so labor was cheap... except for his time. We're a dealer for AA Tuning so we bought the twinscrew kit from them. | | | 08-08-2006, 01:33 AM | #12 | Senior Member Join Date: Nov 2005 Location: çî†ÿ øf åNgëL§, CA Posts: 5,314 | how many horses will Joe be pushing, 300? | | | 08-08-2006, 01:52 AM | #13 | Junior Member Join Date: Jul 2006 Location: Los Angeles, Glendale, Eagle Rock Posts: 16 | Quote: Originally Posted by 1996Bmw318TI how many horses will Joe be pushing, 300? | AA advertises it as 415hp at the crank. We think it's more because he has Supersprint headers, magnaflow resonator (No Cats) and a supersprint rear exhaust. | | | 08-08-2006, 01:54 AM | #14 | Senior Member Join Date: Nov 2005 Location: çî†ÿ øf åNgëL§, CA Posts: 5,314 | Quote: Originally Posted by jon@theMshop AA advertises it as 415hp at the crank.
