Default Thinking of selling my ti for a ACS-3

Hello all

im now thinking of selling my dasc'd ti after all my problems with my ti . its now finally on the road and running 203 bhp . it now puts a smile on my face where ever im driving but since all the problems ive had it just dont feel the same any more .

ive found a black e36 touring that had the ac schnitzer ACS-3 treatment fully done by ac schnitzer bodywork and the engine 328 bored to the 3.2 conversion fully service history loads of history only thing its done 109,000 miles .

just want to see what peoples views are to compare my ti to the acs-3 performance wise and the better car also reliabllity side of things . waana know if id be doing thing right thing or not .

thanks

I know how you feel buddy.
I got a dasc-ed 318ti w/cali roof & I've been having issues with mine as well. Not a bad car by any means - runs strong - but kinda tempermental lately. Down right now, as a matter of fact... only problem for me - the dasc was a gift from my wife & every time & even attemt to aproach a subject of selling it, she goes to the 'I'll kill you' mode. So I'm kinda stuck, though I would want nothing more than to sell it & get into a v-dub.

Just do what feels right (& good luck with the sale)...

whatever one you feel you will enjoy more is the one you should go with.

Just keep in mind that an older E36 will have the same problems as the Ti. It is not like the problem components were only used on the Ti. That is just what you have to deal with when you are driving older cars. If you want to have a car that doesn't give you any problems, and doesn't have stuff wearing out all of the time buy something with less than 5 years or 60k miles on it.
