That's 4 definates. Maybe BMW318tichic. Want to park together? Just an idea. I can get a posterboard and write 318ti.org on it. I would show off a decal, but I don't have any of those. | | | 08-10-2005, 03:11 PM | #17 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2004 Location: Florida Posts: 1,595 | I think there might be 1 more ti coming from Tampa. I'll probably park in the Baybimmers section, but I can park in the middle of baybimmers and 318ti.org | | | 08-10-2005, 04:23 PM | #18 | Site Moderator Join Date: Feb 2005 Location: Naples, Florida Posts: 238 | Quote: Originally Posted by gooten1 Viper, Shaggy, PanzerM, and Gooten1. That one post is the only thing I see indicating that it's at the Mercado. I guess it'll be pretty obvious where it is once I get down there. I will most likely be there. And this is a stupid question but, I've never been to an event like this before (only car shows where you register beforehand), so is this just like you can drive up there and park with a group of people and be part of the "show"? This is just called a meet so I'm assuming that there's no registering or anything, it isn't like a typical show where there is seperate parking for people attending and a seperate area for the show cars. I guess everyone just drives their BMWs and everyone is part of the show/meet type thing? Haha please excuse my ignorance | | | 08-10-2005, 05:19 PM | #20 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2003 Location: Jacksonville, Florida Posts: 322 | Oh yeah, and if you guys have a special area for cars from this board, I'll park with you guys. | | | 08-10-2005, 05:24 PM | #21 | Site Moderator Join Date: Feb 2005 Location: Naples, Florida Posts: 238 | Quote: Originally Posted by bmw318tiChic Oh yeah, and if you guys have a special area for cars from this board, I'll park with you guys. | Yeah probably will be...you can park next to me __________________ Nick 1995 BMW 318iC. I'm planning on leaving in the middle of the night from here and driving all night/morning. That should put me down there with plenty of time to get breakfast and still get good parking spots. | | | 08-11-2005, 04:53 AM | #24 | Senior Member Join Date: Sep 2004 Location: Columbia, SC Posts: 528 | And yes, it is at the mercado. Race rock won't allow more than 100 cars in a show, so we put them over their limit. Mercado is right down the street, still on International drive. | | | 08-14-2005, 02:08 AM | #25 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2004 Location: Florida Posts: 1,595 | It was nice meeting everyone and seeing our ti crowd with all the M3's and M5's. | | | 08-14-2005, 02:50 AM | #26 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2003 Location: Jacksonville, Florida Posts: 322 | Yeah it was pretty cool, and thanks to those who helped with my window | | | 08-14-2005, 01:52 PM | #27 | Site Moderator Join Date: Feb 2005 Location: Naples, Florida Posts: 238 | Yeah nice seeing everyone. Thanks to those who showed up with their ti's, it was good to see a few holding our own with all the M crowd. It was worth the drive down. I'm looking forward to the next meeting. | | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
