Default WTB: Fog Lights

want to buy foglights for my stock ti bumper. Im looking foward to either getting yellow protection on with yellow light bulbs, or just clear with yellow light bulbs. Im looking foward to throwing out a bright yellow light from fog lights and upgrading to HID.

Talking fog light

I JUST got mine in!

Go with Hellas....I got a ZKW or whatever they are, and there is a difference. The zkw's are not edge to edge like hellas...(?the inner chamber is about an inch in-noticeably smaller)- and my ZKW didn't hold up to stones and shattered. My passenger Hella had stood the test of time it seems.

ANYWAY-
here's where I got 'em....Hellas in hella boxes....my local import shop wanted this price for ONE!!

oh and they come with brackets!

Yeah, those items are key if you don't already have fog lights.

im thinking of going with these and just buy super bright yellow bulbs. I saw how a car threw out the combination of yellow fogs with HID headlights, it looked tight when lid up hitting the ground. So i figured thats what i want for my headlight system. But i think ill get these fogs, and buy bright yellow bulbs.

Not a fan of projector fogs, but if you like them then get them. That idea sounds cool, but I got a better one for you. How about HID's for the headlights and HID fogs? That will be one hell of a combo, very bright too.

im just interested in the fog lights beeing very yellow. My lady's friends' brother has a wrx and thats when i liked it. He had hid's very nice, and then bright yellow fogs, and i was like, that looks tight. first half is yellow second half is very white. Would i get same bright yellow results with projector fogs??

Idk how the projectors would look with yellow bulbs, but I would just go for the zkw fogs with them. If you didn't know already the fogs with the yellow film are called french fogs. Good luck wiht your pick.

i may go with projectors. I never did like fog lights like i said, but now i just want them to combo the bright yellow with the HID. I did like the projector better, and then now that i found it in a direct fit and still are little circles, may go with those and get yellow JDM bulbs. Anyone know if those projector bulbs would be h1?

OEM = Original Equipment Manufacturer. The same supplier(s) the car company uses, usually the same specification. Not the case with rotors.

OE = Original Equipment, or branded by the car company. This is your "real real OEM" stuff.

Projector fogs aren't going to be as useful for fog lights, and I find them to "sparkle" too much for my tastes.

If you're just going for the look, you should know that yellow bulbs are rather hard to find.

But rather than that, I would spend your money on a driving school. I guarantee you won't think you should have spent your money on fogs instead.

So I think the point he was making is that if you like the car ,driving school as in TRACK driving is FUN! And for the $$ spent youll value it more than the bling of the lights....

Easy man easy its all good....
