Hi all,
Looking to add some affordable in car gauges to keep track of things during this season of HPDEs. At a minimum I'm looking for oil temp, oil pressure and coolant temp. Datalogging would be nice but not looking to spend hundreds / thousands on a full standalone cluster from AiM / Stack / Racepak / etc.
Two options seem to be:
1) An in car gauge / scan tool that plugs into the OBD2 port (e.g the ScangaugeII:

2) Wifi / Bluetooth OBD2 scanner with smartphone app (e.g. GoPoint BT1a with DashCommand on iPhone:

The Scangauge tool seems straightforward (if a little dated) while the DashCommand route includes a lot of great features but seems to be a bit more sizzle than steak ... Not sure how I feel about trusting Apple to tell me when I'm overheating
Anybody have any experience with either of these solutions / could recommend something better?
