Jean...
At this rate we'll both have our setups running by the same time!...
I have all the parts needed for mine with the exception of the injectors and adapters... all I'm waiting for now is for my refund, so I can have the funds to complete the mission!

Best of Luck Bud!

I'm not at this point, maybe later on... it's really a matter of economics right now. Even though John offered a free tranny, I would still have to buy a new diff (lower gear), custom drive shaft, etc...

So is that supposed to be a head spacer? Wouldn't that require you to run a head gasket on either side of it to get a decent seal? The 6cyl guys just use a thicker MLS head gasket, guess they don't make one for a M42/4 if you're looking at that thing?

Metric Mechanic does not use the MLS gasket due to failures in boost application on the I-4. They use the diesel gasket which is a very heavy duty thick gasket and has not had any failures to date. Also depending on psi you are running you would use standard M3 bolts or shortened M3 bolts with higher torque for the 30psi motors.

Umm! new tech info to me. So, is that a custom cut diesel gasket? And what about its thickness?
