Default *click*click*? ?!!

Hey I got a question. Every time I drive my car, I hear a weird clicking song around the front left side of the tire to the bottom of the car. It starts off clicking slowly around 5mph and starts clicking faster and faster, and dies off around 45mph, it stops clicking whenever i hit the breaks. Its loud, and annoying. Please Help!!

btw- my car is a 97' and has 186,000 miles on it. Nothing has been upgraded, nor has it seen a mechanic since birth- i know thats bad

Bad would be to say you haven't changed the pads or the oil since birth.

Maybe a wheel bearing is gone or a CV joint...?

Sounds like something also might be binding your brakes. Are your brakes scored in any way? You can see the outside but inside you might want to wait until they are cool and feel them. Dust shields will vibrate. Are you missing the brake rattle clips?
