Default What did you do to your car today? v.2014

Old thread here: http://318ti.org/forum/showthread.ph...208#post358208

Figured after 100+ pages it'd be cool to start new for 2014 and so one
.

Did nothing today, but need to weld my coolant level sensor bung shut to end the slow leak that the sensor isn't stopping. Sensor is unplugged anyway

Adjusted my HID's. I was blinding people FTL.
Broke down my style 19's for paint.
Polished my style 5's.

Called CoolJess76 for our 3rd annual New Years Eve BS session.

Shortened my aftermarket harness and actually soldered the wires together instead of using electrical tape. Looks much better.

Also found out I had the OEM alarm installed on my car. Working on buying a new remote to test it out now.

Replaced the spark plug wires and a cracked PCV hose. Still failed smog . Will be back at it cleaning the throttle body tomorrow.

Fixed my drivers window. I bought new sliders for it and was dreading doing this from everything I have read. That was about as easy as changing spark plugs lol. Now I want to do tranny fluid, rear diff fluid, and I need a new air filter.

Cleaned the injectors and replaced the vacuum tree today. Let's hope I pass smog the 3rd time around!

Replaced the lower control arms and bushings on Max. The ball joints were so bad on the old ones that I could literally wiggle them around in their sockets.

As a result, the toe-out is now extremely exaggerated, so much so that it is visually noticeable. Front tires are now / \ when looking at it from the front.

Hope an alignment can fix this or else there's something wrong with the control arms...

picked up an '01 Legacy GT wagon a couple days ago real cheap to use as a winter beater, today I swapped in a Momo wheel out of a WRX in.

just because it's a winter beater doesn't mean it can't have nice things
