Default I need a little help

The auto windows on my 318is do the tiny up down thing when you lift the door handle but only when the ignition is on, they go up if I lock the doors with the key, just will not drop the window correctly with the ignition off, this can not be right ? I thought maybe the "comfort relay " ? I don't know. I have adjusted them by holding the window switches for 5 seconds top and bottom, this works fine.

Any input would be great, Thanks in advance.

the E36 coupes have different doors than the hatchbacks, ours don't have to do that when you open and close the doors because our doors have frames around the windows, I'd suggest posting this on bimmerforums.com since there aren't a lot of coupe guys here
