Cool Another noob!!

Hey everyone, I'm Joe from Muncie, Indiana. Just thought I'd introduce myself here and let everyone know a little bit about me. I've got an Alaska Blue 1996 318ti. Unfortunately, until I save up some more money it's completely stock except for a K&N filter. I'm also really into photography, so I'll try to post some good pictures when I decide to stop being lazy. Anyways, I guess I've got a question also. What would you recommend as a (relatively inexpensive) first mod for a 318. I was thinking of a Remus exhaust, but does anybody else have any good ideas?

Mostly performance. Probably the only thing cosmetic that I'll change will be wheels. BUT, I need the car to still be reliable, and a turbo/supercharger kit is probably out of my price range. Feeding the family is #1, the car is #2.... most days

oh sorry, by relatively inexpensive I mean around $500, but I'm flexible.
