Yeh i suppose i can take a few in the light...

and thanks.. everything is perfect apart from the clutch problem, it still has stock Ti clutch whats the car like when the m3 clutch is installed? do you feel the power anymore and does it actally feel quicker? and can i use the 328 flywheel with the m3 clutch? as i have the flywheels spare still just not the clutch..

anyone know any decent places/sites to get a clutch from, iv been looking at the sachs m3 clutch but im not sure yet, .. i want to spend around 120 pounds (english currency) any suggestions?

ill post a video/sound clip of the beast, to show off the sound it makes hehe,

was out the other night and as i was pulling out of a car park 2 boy racers came flying past me around 60 mph driving a VR6 mk3 golf and a civic type R in the fast lane,
i thought id give em a go so i floored it in first then to second and into third still going for it and i got right up the civics arse, they were both completely flat out nailing it all they had, and i managed to overtake them both by the time id reached over 100, it was late at night and the road went into a dual carriageway (very long) so even though i was speeding, it wasnt dangerous and this was a one off.. plus weve all had a naughty side to our driving some time in out life .. i just wanted to know what the Ti had in her, this was with the slipping clutch aswell! hehe

Default whats it take?

I was considering doing a swap sometime in the future but wasn't sure what all it would take and how much it would cost. Being that we're going from a 4 cylinder to a 6 i would think alot would have to change. Such as transmission, ecu, exhaust etc.
What all is required to do this and what kinda price range am i looking at? Labor too since i wont be able to do this myself.

There is a ton of information on this site about swapping. Best to do some searching...

Price can range from anywhere around 1500 if you get a deal on parts, up to $10k for high end parts and installation.

lookin' good, I was tripping out a little when I saw the master cylinder on the right side of the car, took me a little while to figure it out btw, that's some pretty bad rust on your fender, good thing you have a parts car with a good fender I notice you've already swapped the plastic piece on the mirror over

If youre from the uk its cheap as chips for the conversion, just pick up a rear ended wrote off 328/325 or whatever, mine cost me 400 pounds, with 72,000 miles, the swap is soooooooooo easy i cant exagerrate how easy it is, even if its ObD2 to OBD2 or whatever, its basically swap over everything that looks different, the engine (mounts still bolt in same place), radiator (but im stil using stock and its fine), id advise to use the 328 clutch or better though, only thing to watch out for is EWS, make sure you change the little box behind the glovebox , the one under steering column, and the chip inside the key, all matching the ecu.. if you want help with it just message me and ill help

The correct clutch is only going to eliminate the slipping. Its not going to make anything faster, in fact I'm sure the M3 unit is heavier than the stock ti unit.

Not sure you need a M3 clutch with a 2.8. Just go with a stock 2.8 clutch and your flywheel unless your going to be tracking the car.

thanks, i would of thought that because the clutch was slipping its losing power, so getting the clutch sorted would bring back the power, making the car FEEL faster.?
