Just wanted to say thank you... __________________ 2003 Z4 2.5i 2002 Ducati Monster S4 | | | 06-20-2008, 06:55 AM | #2 | Senior Member Join Date: Dec 2004 Location: Long Beach area Posts: 1,189 | all good... your car is pretty much the same car in a different shell... __________________ 97 Jet Black 318ti Sport. I will post pix soon: the car should be back on the road this weekend after some extraordinary maintenance (cat, valve cover gasket, vacuum lines, manifold & injectors cleaning)... This should be it for quite a while!!! I find it interesting how folks here have the same dream as me: "one day, I'll have a M44 with DASC and NickG Stage 3" eheheh!!! __________________ 2003 Z4 2.5i 2002 Ducati Monster S4 | | | 06-20-2008, 06:48 PM | #6 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2006 Location: maritimes Posts: 1,433 | i wonder... does the z3 make as good of a candidate for a swap as the Ti?? Namely, could you take an E36 6cyl and toss it in there with no major issues? And welcome to the site! | You could, but there's really no need: the Z3 have been available also with the M52, M52TU, S52, M54 and S54... I think if you're not satisfied by an M44 you'r ebetter off get a whole new car as opposed to go through the whole swapping effort. But I salute all of you guys that did so on the ti!!!! __________________ 2003 Z4 2.5i 2002 Ducati Monster S4 | | | 06-24-2008, 04:38 AM | #10 | Senior Member Join Date: Feb 2008 Location: Oceanside, CA Posts: 421 | Here's a pix my car (the Z3) and my wife's (the Z4). __________________ 2003 Z4 2.5i 2002 Ducati Monster S4 | | | 06-24-2008, 04:31 PM | #11 | Senior Member Join Date: Oct 2007 Location: Eugene Oregon Posts: 6,182 | nice to see you are keeping them clean __________________ -Josh Sold-1995 318ti, Club Sport, Hellrot Sold-1996 318ti, Active Model, Boston Green Current- 1995 318ti, sport model, schwartz | | | 06-25-2008, 11:41 PM | #12 | Senior Member Join Date: Feb 2008 Location: Oceanside, CA Posts: 421 | Since I mentioned the maintenance on the car, I thought I would share the link of all the pix I took. __________________ 2003 Z4 2.5i 2002 Ducati Monster S4 | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
