Converting Basic Seats to Sport Seats?????

I would like to remove the upholstery of my Basic seats and put in the ones from the Sport seats. The online catalog shows both types, the "PAD SEAT FRONT" and the "PAD SEAT BACKREST FRONT" seem to fit in either sport or basic models. Anyone know for sure? Rather than replace the hole seat, replacing just the seat and backrest is easier. I would be willing to buy new leather seat and backrest parts to match my interior. Any thoughts on this?

It's cheaper to get used Sport seats than to do this kind of a conversion. I picked up a pair of Sport seats couple of years ago on Ebay for 170USD

Then I must deal with seats that are worn or the wrong color. Would buying new leather upholstery for used sport seats seem logical? Also, my seats are heated but not electric. What about putting my heated seat option into a sport seat that didn't have heated seats? This could get more complicated.

I found a company that custom makes uphostery, and does BMW seats. Below is the link. Their prices are insane!

Here is a quote on the cost of the foam inserts to make a standard seat to sport seat:

Back pad $140.00 (each seat)
Center Bottom $110.00 (each seat)
Bottom Sides $100.00 (each seat)

That is just the foam. Get this, the leather covers for both seats is $1000.00

man....to change them are a pain in the butt.... i just did mines a week ago, i wish i had pics to show you, took me about 4 days. but i actually made mines from scratch, i was going to buy pure leather but it takes 1 1/2 yard per seat($480 yard) hell no!!! so i used vinyl. $8 yard , so do the math....
I cut them and my grandma sewed them together a lot a work but at the end was worth it. they look so fk'ing hot!!!
