And paying more for bodywork, paint, and shipping opposed to buying new is not an option! Thanks Last edited by 318RS; 02-20-2012 at 05:46 PM. You are pretty much stuck with either buying new, looking in junk yards or posting on multiple sites. I am surprised that new ones arn't cheaper. look at the mtech front bumper. new is pretty cheap. you can pick them up for a few $$'s and get it painted. Best of luck. __________________ Check out our new website! https://soltechsolutionsllc.com/ Green Your Decor with the Aspect! Mine arrived at my door for about 210 dollars and can easily be found for under 250. | | | 02-21-2012, 10:42 PM | #13 | Member Join Date: May 2007 Location: Florida Posts: 90 | Thanks, I have thought of this. I mean it's not like they're NLA. They very rarely pop up used and the chances of finding one in good condition, the correct color and nearby are pretty slim. And when they do surface, they're usually snatched up fairly quickly, so if you're not in the right place at the right time with cash in hand, you'll probably miss out. Tischer(getbmwparts.com) sells them for a hundred bucks less than a standard e36 M3 rear bumper which is exceptionally generous considering the number of ti's vs the number of regular e36's on the road. These are big parts, not exactly easy to box, transport and ship. Most people would expect to be compensated for the hassle. My advice, either suck it up and buy a new one or be patient, have the money ready and expect to wait for several years, lol. Edit; 318RS just pointed out that Tischer no longer offers the retrofit kit for the ti. Not sure if they got rid of it completely, but the deal is no longer listed on their site. Might wanna try calling them. I'm sure if there's enough interest, they'll put something together for the 318ti crowd. They're partial to the ti and usually give us a little better savings.
