I've been lurking the Z3M forums for a while and that is what A LOT of those guys seem to do, it sucks because most of them have these rare parts and then don't even install them on their cars. __________________ ~Dave~ 98 328ti Morea Grun slicktop 11 128i space gray slicktop 13 JGC WK2 Deep Cherry Search | RealOEM | | | 02-22-2012, 04:00 AM | #17 | Member Join Date: May 2007 Location: Florida Posts: 90 | I appreciate everyone's concern in me finding a bumper. I track my car and plan on building a rear diffuser to cover the void(parachute) that is between the rear axle and the bumper on e30's and ti's. I figure attaching it to the Mtech will be easier and cleaner. So I don't want one just to look kooler, well maybe but that's not the only reason. So anyone want to donate to the cause by giving me a deal on one in "good" condition let me know. | | | 02-22-2012, 04:04 AM | #18 | NOBODY F's with the Jesus Join Date: Oct 2006 Location: Ventura California Posts: 7,824 | | | | 02-22-2012, 04:08 AM | #19 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2007 Location: SW Florida Posts: 4,275 | lol...jess strikes again...well played my friend...well played __________________ Sean 1995 Active | | | 02-22-2012, 03:23 PM | #20 | Member Join Date: May 2007 Location: Florida Posts: 90 | I'm well aware of how rare these are , but I appreciate your concern in letting me know. I'm sure if there's enough interest, they'll put something together for the 318ti crowd. They're partial to the ti and usually give us a little better savings. | Just FYI, rear retrofit kit is NLA, I had Tischer and ECS run the part number last fall and both confirmed there are none left in the US or Germany. I did not have them run just the bumper part number. __________________ ~Dave~ 98 328ti Morea Grun slicktop 11 128i space gray slicktop 13 JGC WK2 Deep Cherry Search | RealOEM | | | 02-22-2012, 09:01 PM | #22 | NOBODY F's with the Jesus Join Date: Oct 2006 Location: Ventura California Posts: 7,824 | Quote: Originally Posted by 318RS I'm well aware of how rare these are , but I appreciate your concern in letting me know. The bumper cover and everything else is available separately at almost twice the cost! Bogus! I can get a better deal threw the local dealer without shipping charges but still holding out for used one ! | | | 02-23-2012, 08:47 AM | #24 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2011 Location: SoFla Posts: 482 | Quote: Originally Posted by Uber E30 I bought mine off of ebay.co.uk Just do a search for "e36 compact rear bumper" and send messages to the sellers for a quote to the US. Just message anyone with the bumper for 100 pounds or less and you should easily get a bumper to your door for sub 300. I happened to find a bumper for 69 pounds so mine came out to about 210 USD. This guy quoted me 75 http://myworld.ebay.com/bmwbitsz?ssP...:X:RTQ:US:1181 This is the guy i bought from http://myworld.ebay.com/engineandgea...84.m1497.l2754 Try contacting them and either seeing if they have more for sale or a list they can put you on. If neither of those pan out see what shipping company they used and try to convince someone else to ship with that carrier. He PM'd me, but I didn't know the answer. __________________ 4 MORE YEARS BABY!!! | | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
