You might be getting belt slip if you beleive it should be producing more boost.

You got a few solutions:

1. One solution is to get a tighter belt tensioner
2. another is to use a set of wider pulleys and belt.
3. Switch over to a gilmer belt drive

one of my idler pulleys that came with the dasc gave up and shattered to pieces so i had a guy fab me some up using top notch double row bearings etc
