Clicked over 100,000 over the weekend.

Running good, but a few drops on the driveway

It's been awhile since I've posted here... But I broke 200,000 with my '96, with about half of that with my DASC.

230,000 this morning. Probably time to change plugs, mpg's at an resolute 25.8. Also it seems like lowering it doesn't help?

Since we're doing odometer photos, this was earlier today:

Well my odometer ended its life at 335,690 miles. Got rear ended in June. Insurance totaled the car. No surprise there. I have no doubts I would have reached 400,000 miles. But as life has it, all good things come to an end.
Best car I ever owned. I really enjoyed driving it every time I got behind the wheel. I salvaged some parts if anyone is interested.

It has been fun here on this forum. I learned plenty from fellow Ti er's and I was happy to help others as well. I do not see another BMW in my immediate future (except my current R1200RT motorcycle). Hopefully BMW will get off its butt and bring the 1 series in Diesel with a six speed tranny to the states. I have seen them all over Europe.

My 1997 318ti.

Sorry to hear about the ti. I'm actually going to PM you about some parts.

On topic, I just turned over 248k.

It's incredible that so many of you easily reach 200k and up... that would be 322k kilometres, and in Germany not even 2 engines would last that long... dunno why, but most 318TI-engines over here die at ~100k miles...

I'm the second owner of this car and as far as I know it's the original engine, and possibly clutch(though I doubt it). Can't beat it considering I paid $1300 for it 4 years ago.
