Default Cosmo Intake Compatible with DASC?

Is the cosmo intake (regular NOT CAI) compatible with the DASC (m44)?

Also, for anyone who has the cosmo intake, is it a paper filter? How do you clean them? Can you use the same recharger kit for the K&N filters?

thanks in advance!

No, neither are compatible without modifications. CAI are useless, plus you probably don't want to run one on a DASC'd Ti. It's important to be able to SEE the filter...

Agree there is little utility to CAI on a DASC'd car...it does sound cool, though

You know the saying "out of sight, out of mind"? It's much easier and convienent to check the "status" of you air filter when you can see it. CAI relocate the filter element under the bumper where you can't inspect it. In fact the filter could fall off and you'd probably never know.

I'm running a paper OEM filter from a '91 Honda Prelude on my DASC as additional protection. I'm sure everyone has seen the studies that prove without a doubt that paper filters filter better than anything else.

Aha...good preventive maintenance advice...

BTW, I've seen your writeup on the '91 Prelude filter...very "clean"
