Default Bav Auto Plug Wires install issues

I finally got the time to bring my car in to install my 8mm Bavarian Autosport High Performance expensive spark plug wiresthat I got from Bavauto.com. Unfortunately, after removing my battery and wires, with busted bolts and tools spread out, I discover that the wires they sent are not the correct length. Rather let down as there is not much room nor desire for loose ends in that area of my engine bay. After a quick call to tech support, their reply is simply to just zip tie them in back somewhere. Just what I wanted, my clean ( or trying to keep clean) engine bay starting to look like the back of my out of date 1990s computer.
has anyone had or heard of having this issue? what's the "fix".
I bailed on the install, put my old ones back in, not sure if they are the original, but only 100 000miles on the car and seem to work just fine.
Going to send my new ones back
here are some pics
any ideas or comments?

I have the same problem with the Bimmerworld wires I put in my E30, and I've seen similar sized wires on other cars at work, I'd just stick them on and not worry about, I don't think it's going to look as bad as you're imagining

I had them at one point and they fit OK. The extra length ends up at the ignition coil and really doesnt cause any probs. I just made a small coil on that end. The wires are thicker gauge so they do not fit in loom runs, I just zip tied it to the loom. They worked great I guess, never had any problems with them and the car ran great. Ended up going back to the OEM ones just because I was picky with the fit of them.

thanks, I'm pretty picky about this also and I'm sure they would work fine but why install something that doesn't fit. Also my worries is that the extra wire would just be exposed to engine heat and touching other parts which would eventualy lead to premature failure.
I see that you returned to the oem wires, did the others fail?
I was going to mod the carriers for the wires to fit nice and tidy, but can't hide the extra

No they never failed, I ended up changing them when I did the valve cover gakset. The spark plug wells were full of oil and the wires had sat in in them for awhile, they were pretty messy. Never had any issues with heat affecting them either due to the extra length.

i had a similar set when i had a M44. they fit in my cable guide when i had them. just gotta take your time and push them in the slots.
and you should sand down that valve cover or something. looks dirty for being clean.

I know, needs a wash but northeastern cars are like that and I haven't had ANY time to do what needs to be done to my car since my little girl was born on April 1st. so getting my car in to install these and they didn't fit ticked me off pretty much. I also noticed that my valve cover gasket will be due soon so it'll get refreshed then .
I tried to get them into the tray, seemed pretty tight and was going to cut out some material for an easy fit. I'll see if I still want to install them or not
