 Manifold gasket..
Hi guys,
After hearing a tapping noise that has got worse over the last week I have ordered a new timing chain tensioner which I will have by wednesday (5th December) and hopefully that will solve my tapping??????
Anyway while listening to the tapping I heard a Blowing noise, took it to a local exhaust garag today and he tells me its the manifold gasket....but they dont do them they just fit new backboxes and stuff!!!!!!
So I am going to have a go myself.
Can anyone give me any info to make this gasket replacement easiers for me???
I have been told that I can do the gasket replacement by getting at the manifold from the top, just move the ingnition pack and washer bottle out of the way and i will have enough access.......
Any help will me nuch apprecieated...
Oh and my car is a 1995 ti..right hand drive.. |
