Default New 318ti owner intro...

Hi Folks,

I have just become the owner of a '97 318ti "Active" I think...not 100% sure yet. Anyway I've been gathering lots of good info here to prepare for ownership...A Big Thanks to all!

This is my forth BMW, having previously owned a '94 BMW R100GS/PD and an '84 BMW 318i. I currently own a '99 BMW R1100S.

I typically fall for just about anything German...it's a chronic sickness I'm unable to recover from.

welcome, if you want to know whether you have an active or not there are several things you can look for, or the easier way is to just post the last 7 digits of your vin in this thread:

let's see some pics of the new ti we won't be mad if you post a few pics of your other cars either

Thanks for the VIN tip Pauly! I don't have a URL to post links of pics from...is there a way to upload pics from my PC to these threads?

you could put them in your photo gallery, although I think you need a certain number of posts before you can do that

You could always use Flickr, Photobucket, Webshots, Imageshack or the site's own gallery function, but like someone said, it might have a post requirement. Welcome to the site!
