Lots of interest, but no one has coughed up any cash yet. I have a guy coming Saturday morning to take a look. | | | 04-08-2010, 06:04 PM | #17 | Senior Member Join Date: Apr 2007 Location: NY Posts: 156 | well honestly I don't know why the ti's with the DASC's go for so much.. any other car with a supercharger kit doesn't double in value.. and yours is one of the cheaper ones.. i mean in all seriousness a 4500$ car strapped with a 2000$ kit or whatever it costs.. is only 6500 and the kit is used so its not worth full price.. and rims and all that don't really add value - I mean as far as trade in or whatever. Don't mean to ruine your post.. this is more a general statement.. but your car looks real good, real sweet. | | | 04-08-2010, 07:31 PM | #18 | Junior Member Join Date: Oct 2008 Location: Granby, CT Posts: 14 | Below are my best conservative guesses as to the value of the parts. Add up just the mods/ new parts on the car and its more than $10,000. Add in the value of the car, the fact that its a rare club sport, subtract for wear and tear and you get $8450 obo. If you now think it's worth more feel free to offer more! I am saying you see plenty of say 95 civic's with a jackson racing supercharger and all hooked up.. and they don't ask like 10 grand for the car.. but all the supercharged ti's are usually around 9000 or so. thats just the point I meant.. and most people shy away from heavily modifed cars and dealers may even subtract for it.. they might offer you 2000 grand.. so a car to me is only worth it's street value and trade in value... doesn't matter if you put 25,000$ into your never going to get even 1/2 of what you put into it back... trust me I am 32 and have had modified cars and they are a hard sell and you always lose money... but again good luck.. its nice! | | | 04-08-2010, 11:00 PM | #21 | Senior Member Join Date: Feb 2006 Location: Westfield, IN Posts: 1,335 | Joey, you have to take into consideration that this is a very rare car, only 250 were ever made for 95. And for the shape it's in I say that Mike's asking price is very fair. __________________ Greg M42 Club member 186 WTB: HELLROT RED CLUB SPORT 95 ti sold but staying in the family. | | | 04-08-2010, 11:02 PM | #22 | Senior Member Join Date: Apr 2007 Location: NY Posts: 156 | Quote: Originally Posted by ChItalian1027 Joey, you have to take into consideration that this is a very rare car, only 250 were ever made for 95. I would meet you half way, but you already said you only have $7000, which is not enough for me to get excited about. The car has only been for sale for 5 days now and I am not in a hurry to sell. | | | 04-09-2010, 06:37 AM | #28 | Senior Member Join Date: Feb 2006 Location: Westfield, IN Posts: 1,335 | GLWS Mike! still wish I was closer and had a job and was done with school already, still have another month need to get my resume in to Bosch, so hopefully I'll get the job, and just maybe you'll still have it up for sale when I get your asking price *crosses fingers for the job* __________________ Greg M42 Club member 186 WTB: HELLROT RED CLUB SPORT 95 ti sold but staying in the family. | | | 04-11-2010, 06:43 PM | #29 | Senior Member Join Date: Apr 2007 Location: NY Posts: 156 | I am curious, if you work at a track.. whats the 0-60 and 1/4mi on this car? | | | 04-11-2010, 06:45 PM | #30 | Senior Member Join Date: Apr 2007 Location: NY Posts: 156 | And do you have another steering wheel? I don't like the momo. I would prefer the 99 sport wheel. How hard to change it ? | | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
