Will this wheel off of a 1998 E36 3 Series fit onto my 96 318Ti and swap my air bag over? Looks basically the same. I have been searching online to find pictures or other BMW's with this steering wheel. Anybody got one like this also? I would like to know which beemer these came or were options on. | | | 04-24-2010, 11:56 PM | #14 | Senior Member Join Date: Sep 2008 Location: Central Florida Posts: 678 | That is an aftermarket wheel, no BMW's came with that as an option. I do remember seeing this on some after market website as part of a carbon fiber interior kit for e-36 (not the Ti), not sure if it was BMP design, Bekkers Import, Turner... One of those for sure. If it came off of an e-36 it will fit the Ti no problem. __________________ 2LT Rodriguez CA ARNG TURBO 96' Sport, Alaska Blue, Auto Custom JohnBoy Turbo, Midnight-Tunning Software, HKS BOV, e-Pod Gauge Pod, BavAuto Springs, Bilstein Sport, e30 3.73 LSD, Depo P36, Apexcone 55w HID, OEM Spoiler, M3 Lip, M3 Mesh Grill, Crossdrilled Rear Rotors, M3 Front Brakes, Sparco 3 point Harness, Euro M3 Wheel, K&N cone, Clear Corner/Sides/Tails, M3 Center Console & Arm-rest, M3 Red Cluster Needles, M3 Mirrors & Side Skirts, RD Exhaust, DS-1 wheels!... | | | 04-25-2010, 01:12 PM | #15 | Senior Member Join Date: Apr 2010 Location: Nor Cal Posts: 136 | Thanks Yoda, I wonder if I can find more info on who and where it was made. Looks like a OEM wheel with the stampings ect, A stock wheel taken and modified? It does feel like a OEM part but true, I could not find this wheel in any of the BMW catalogs. I guess I will be one of the cool guys with a CF wheel, I like having a rare part. I plan on going CF in my interior and exterior so this will start my CF theme on this car. I am starting a CF thread! | | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
