Default Just wanted to introduce myself....

I just wanted to introduce myself here and try not to be "that new guy".... Anyway I am in the market for a 318Ti as a second/third/semi-toy car.

I currently drive a 2000 Audi A4 Avant 1.8TQ (wagon turbo-quattro to those not "down" with the Audi lingo!) I am a long time member of the "AudiWorld" web forums so I am no stranger to being told to search, stfu, rtfm, and all the other wonderful things about web-forum life.

I've been lurking here a while and learning a lot of great things... the more I read the more I want to find a nice Ti. Living in Maine and owning a boatyard I am not too sure if I want to give up the Quattro and space of the wagon, but I've had several BMW's in the past. (A 2002 Tii, a 320is and a 535is)

This is turning into a book huh? Just wanted to say hi!

welcome. the ti is a wonderful car, handles great in the snow (if you get snow tires) and is quite versatile. my friend bought the same sofa pictured below, and couldn't get it into a volvo wagon. how's that for useful?

with the exception of towing more than a motorcycle, the ti can handle almost anything you throw at it.

Yes they do, or they can be completely removed. Removing them however requires removing one torx screw.

Rare to find a California-top ti in the Northeast.
I got mine in North Reading, MA last week.
1998 318ti 75Kmiles.
I paid $8,500.
This is my toy and my drifting machine now.

Thanks, I have no problem going to Florida/California etc. if I have to for the right car.

We'll see, Audi is for sale now... I may buy a Ti before it sells, I don't know?
