Default How do I remove rear speaker trays ? ? ? ??

I have a set of blown rear speakers and I see the write ups on how to replace them with 5.25" speakers and 4" speakers but what I didn't see is HOW do I remove the rear seat parts that are in the way of removing the speaker tray.
So.
Please how do I remove the seat edge parts and how do I remove the speaker tray?
I have a 4" and a 5.25" set ready to go,
Thank you!
Peter

Fold the rear seats down; pull the side bolster upward towards the roof very gently to release the hook on the bolster from the tab on the chassis. You may have to work it a little bit to get the hook over the tab but DO NOT pull the bolster forward or force it, or you will start to rip the hook from the side bolster. You shouldn't have to completely remove the bolster, just get it out of the way enough to provide room to access the screw holding the speaker tray in.

Isn't there a fastener at the bottom of the bolster? One of those big plastic nut/washer things? I'm pretty sure there is and the better way to get the bolster off is to remove the seat cushion (the part you sit on, just pull up on the front edge and it will pop off), undo the fasteners at the bottom of the bolster and then just lift them up.

Bolsters were easy,,
I see two of the screws holding the tray in, I removed those two and where are the rest of them.
How do I get the speaker trays out ?
Need to replace the rear speakers !

IIRC, there is a plastic nut behind the bolster that needs to be removed, the other 3-4 are screws that should be obvious. After the fasteners are removed, just slip the seat belt out of the guide and you should be GTG.

Are you replacing the factory 4" speakers with aftermarket 4", or did you buy the 5.25" adapter plates?

I have both sets and will see what I can do once the trays are out,
I saw the two fasteners in the front of the tray but didn't see any others. I also have a factory CD player on the other side,
So all screws should be in sight once the seat bolster is removed? I only saw two.
Thank you.

I believe there are at least three screws in addition to the plastic nut. There's one that is kind of hidden- follow the mounting arms down from the tray to locate them. I can take a picture of one when I get home, if you still can't find it.
