I've never been able to go see the Mendocino rallye in person, maybe soon... That rx-7 looks like serious fun, and well sorted... I have an NA and NB miata that I still haven't decided what to do with. The NA was an SCCA Spec car from 1992, and ran in SCCA and NASA before it found it's way to my driveway... As for a gathering. I'm thinking that the last weekend of July might be a good time to consider. Most NorCal ti gatherings start at my place and then evolve from there... __________________ James 95 active w/leather interior and sport interior conversion, Vaders, full M-Tech exterior conversion. The road up is a bit sketchy on low profile street tires, but I've done it every year! Later this month should work well for a meetup, we'll have to get on that! __________________ 1997 318ti 5-speed Moreagrün 1996 318ti auto Hellrot (retired) | | | 05-09-2017, 04:35 PM | #20 | Member Join Date: Jul 2015 Location: Santa Rosa, CA Posts: 62 | Dbilas ITBs are basically in. Been double checking my connections underneath since nothing is distinct between the connectors. Whoever decided that the wiring harness need to go through the middle of a hole in the intake manifold was a complete ass. Got rid of the air bleed injectors since they don't fit the manifold. Used similar vintage 6 cylinder injectors instead. IAC was also shot. Got a new one. Pretty sure its connected correctly (yellow/white wire). Currently starts on the stock DME. Might also need to replace the belt soon. Pictures are from mid-swap. Also, my valve cover looks awful. The silicon tube they supplied is too rigid to make the bend. Probably be a junkyard adventure to find something. | | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
