Default Fog light ?

can anyone tell me if the electrics are in place for front fog lights the front valance has the removable panels in but want to know how much work is involved to fit front fogs

They are not prewired.
Install instructions are probably posted elsewhere.

Mounting the fog lights themselves in the front openings is not a big deal but as Steven said- these cars are not prewired for any options that were not delivered with the car (exceptions being CD changer, mobile phone, anti-theft systems, but even then it's not always a sure bet that the wiring is installed unless it is stated as such). There's always this option: E36 Fog Light Wiring Kit

Indeed, and that that pre-wiring even exists is because BMW NA didn't want to order cars with those options, despite some of their customers wanting them. The pre-wiring addressed that issue by making it easy enough for their dealers to later add changers, phones and alarm systems for the customers wanting them.
