Good when looking to sell. Bad when looking to buy. __________________ ...steven BMW CCA #146825 1996 BMW 328ti • 2003 MINI Cooper S • 2016 M235i www.bmwcca.org | | | 08-18-2008, 09:24 PM | #3 | Senior Member Join Date: Oct 2007 Location: Eugene Oregon Posts: 6,182 | wow i think it has potential but with the way this person went with the build he should have done the e46 m3 bumper. i really love that interior too! and yes you covered the things i would change. but i would also paint the hoods __________________ -Josh Sold-1995 318ti, Club Sport, Hellrot Sold-1996 318ti, Active Model, Boston Green Current- 1995 318ti, sport model, schwartz | | | 08-18-2008, 09:27 PM | #4 | Moderator Join Date: Mar 2007 Location: Maryland Posts: 3,220 | no surprise that the bf.c people think it is ugly as balls maybe some companies will see that there is still a needed market for the 318ti, m42/4 and so forth...but I doubt it | | | 08-18-2008, 09:36 PM | #5 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2003 Location: PA Posts: 822 | Yeah that thing is ugly. Look at the wheels, turn signals and the E46 M3 fender vents. __________________ Clever but we are clueless... Thanks if you can. | | | 08-18-2008, 09:43 PM | #7 | Senior Member Join Date: Feb 2007 Location: Denver, Colorado Posts: 3,212 | BMW sticker on windshield, chrome rims, corner lights, fender vents, and CF grills have to go. The interior is nice though. Also is it just the picture or did he put chrome windshield wipers? | | | 08-18-2008, 10:28 PM | #8 | Senior Member Join Date: Jan 2008 Location: San Diego Posts: 340 | I like the interior color... the CF stuff looks kinda bad. __________________ 1/1997 M44 ti M-Sport Schwartz II | | | 08-18-2008, 10:28 PM | #9 | Senior Member Join Date: Apr 2008 Location: Austin Posts: 3,059 | I can understand the owners taste. He wants to mix american muscle with a little of chinese taste all into the euro car. The window says "BMW", but the hood doesn't even have a roundel. He could've atleast gone with a cf roundel like me. I look for this magazine at Barns and Noble to see how much of our secret they disclose to the outside world....... >_> __________________ Come get a ti-shirt Quote: From the e30 M3, evolved the e36. Not everyday a ti get some attention! I am going to look for this mag locally and buy a copy of it. Now people is going to jump on the ti bangwagon everywhere. Price is going up just like Steven said. | | | 08-19-2008, 12:29 AM | #11 | Senior Member Join Date: Oct 2007 Location: Eugene Oregon Posts: 6,182 | Quote: Originally Posted by Maverick1225 I can understand the owners taste. Your car better be made out of gold..... And what's wrong with the foglights? I'll be honest though. The car doesn't look that bad at all. Hood needs a roundel, and rims should've been a 5 spoke gun metal to match the carbon fiber hood and grill. Carbon Fiber > Painted. __________________ Come get a ti-shirt Quote: From the e30 M3, evolved the e36.
