Default deck help please!

i have a alpine deck and i have to get the plastic piece off that is around it but i have no clue how to do so... i have been messing with it for about an hour and i cant seem to get it... help please want to get this done tonight!

how about search the model number on google? Should be able to find a manual for it.

Or are you talking about the stock tape deck? That you flip the to flaps open and jam an allen key in and turn counterclockwise to release the clamps.

No i said that wrong... How do i pull my head unit out using the metal tab thingys its an alpine deck

If I understood you right then you are trying to take the metal sleeve off the deck. If the stereo is not installed you can use a flat heaf to pop up the tabs. If it is already installed the deck should come with these flat metals pieces, keys, that you can slide in between the deck and the sleeve and it should pop right off. I hope this helps.
