I like the atom a lot, so this car will have to be amazing. Plus, it has an Audi turbo engine (boo). those things always give out at about 100000 miles, (we own a 1.8t) even w/ normal driving, and who is going to drive an X-bow normally? we'll see where this goes, I guess. | | | 08-11-2007, 07:04 AM | #4 | Senior Member Join Date: Dec 2006 Location: G-dale, California Posts: 1,698 | Quote: Originally Posted by momorugger maybe the X-Bow is cheaper than the atom. ans easier to actually get on the roads in america? It doesn't have a front windshield... It comes with custom helmets. It is meant to be a track car. I'd take the atom or the xbow as a track toy... Neither one of them really appeals to me as a street car.. I'm sure if you hit that carbon fiber front bumper on anything and it will just shatter into pieces. | | | 08-12-2007, 03:06 AM | #6 | Senior Member Join Date: Jan 2007 Location: Los Alamos, NM Posts: 344 | the atom can handle speed bumps, and is street legal as a motorcycle if you get the headlights and stuff. Has anybody heard of somebody tuning an atom? that thing would be nuts. | | | 08-13-2007, 06:41 PM | #7 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2005 Location: Florida Posts: 2,525 | Quote: Originally Posted by momorugger the atom can handle speed bumps, and is street legal as a motorcycle if you get the headlights and stuff. Meaning that it comes to you in parts and you have to buy the motor separately.. Kind of like the noble m400. I've not heard that they plan on selling the x-bow as just a rolling chasis. But that is very possible. | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
