wild- the spare removes horizontally under the rear bumper? can we get pics down low of the bumper/carrier area? __________________

Sorry no pics of the spare today. None of the tools came with the car and I thought it was just an allen wrench that fit into the crank in the back but I couldn't find one that would catch. I guess it's off to the dealership this weekend. __________________

No, you need the sheet metal pan that has the shape and battery mounting tie down holes. __________________

All these parts are detailed in the swap manual, if you happen to have a copy.
But, it is a weld-in conversion, and I’d only do it if you have collision or corrosion damage to deal with at the same time. | | | | | |
