I have an alternator i ordered for my 97 ti and never used. Looks brand new and is remanufated with all the papers showing quality checks performed on it. Is it ok to get an aftermarket alternator from Ebay ?
I have a1996 318ti hatchback.
And my other question is refurbish alternators on e bay ok ?
Or I need to get a new one ?
Am trying to save some $.

I got a rebuilt one, with a warranty, off eBay. The place was called California Starter and Alternator or something. $99 about four years ago. i looked everywhere ! with no result
i have a 1996 , 318 TI with a VALEO 80 amp alternator on it .
all i need is the brushes .
