So I've been looking for some 5 spoke rims, and really want some Millies but most are out of my price range so I found these rims on craigslist. http://portland.craigslist.org/clc/pts/1088698203.html I really am interested in them, but can't figure out what they are! Has anyone ever seen these or maybe even have the slightest clue what they are? I looked on google images for awhile hoping I'd get lucky but seriously that was just wishful thinking haha. | | | 03-31-2009, 06:19 AM | #2 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2006 Location: central ct Posts: 503 | hard to tell from the low quality pics... center maybe looks like momo's ? <obvious> did you email the guy for more info about them? </obvious> __________________ 2010 Genesis Coupe 2.0t track | 2000 Dakota Former 1995 318ti owner | | | 03-31-2009, 06:23 AM | #3 | Senior Member Join Date: Dec 2004 Location: Long Beach area Posts: 1,189 | Mille Miglia MM-II on what looks like an E34 5 series. If you get em, you'll need to go and roll your fenders. A quick google search lead me to this picture. Looks like the same centercaps that are on the car you posted. Hope this helps you out! -Randy __________________ 97 Jet Black 318ti Sport. Not so stock anymore!.... Same price that budget76 got his for haha. BTW those smaller holes between the bolt holes serve no purpose, just cosmetics. -Randy __________________ 97 Jet Black 318ti Sport. The one's you found could be knock-off's, or just a difference between years produced... as for the small holes, I don't really know. My DS1's have those holes too... __________________ James 95 active w/leather interior and sport interior conversion, Vaders, full M-Tech exterior conversion. Maybe the holes are to make them even lighter I mean that must shave off at least a couple hundred grams I'll call the guy up tomorrow find out more and post back the details! Even if they are knockoffs they would be a great deal if rubber is included! | | | 03-31-2009, 07:13 AM | #10 | Senior Member Join Date: Dec 2004 Location: Long Beach area Posts: 1,189 | Quote: Originally Posted by John318ti James and Randy thanks guys! Even if they are knockoffs they would be a great deal if rubber is included! | Hey actually on the CL ad that you posted, those extra holes aren't there haha. Doing another quick search, it seems like there's several versions of Mille Milgia MMII wheels out there. The one that's in the CL ad are MMII PLUS, where the ones that Budget76 looks like MMII-2... I'm not too sure how accurate my quick research is, but from my understanding, there are different versions. Here's a few pictures so you can see the differences. Mille Miglia MMII-2 (Just like the ones Budget76 got) Mille Miglia MMII-3 (The spokes aren't flat) Mille Miglia MMII PLUS (The ones that are in the original post.) Hopefully the info I'm sharing is correct, if not, let me know! I like these wheels, I was about to get a set too haha, but my $$$ didn't let me haha. -Randy __________________ 97 Jet Black 318ti Sport. Not so stock anymore!....
