Default Thinking about getting this...

Ok,

I looked at a TI today, not sure if I should get it. it has a rebuilt title but it looks amazing. Also, I think the frame might be tweaked a little bit, the owner told me that the BMW dealership couldn't get the tie-rods aligned, is this a pretty common problem. Is there anyway to fix this. Also the transmission hesitates to shift gears if it isn't warmed up. Here is the link to the car:
Here

Thanks in Advance,
Erik

Even if excellent condition, as a '95, an automatic, and with a rebuilt title, that car should be worth about $4000 max. I can't imagine how screwed-up the frame would have to be to not be able to adjust "the tie-rods" but most likely it's the camber or caster that's off, not the toe-in. If you're interested, take it either to a body shop or an alignment shop to have it looked at before you buy. How far from the seller are you? Miles are good but are they accurate?

I'm pretty sure the mileage is accurate, but I'm not entirely sure. If the camber or caster was off, would I feel any vibration? Also would I run into any major problems if I left it how it is?

if the caster is off, it might handle squirrly, not sure how far off it'd need to be for you to notice this. If the camber is off, you'll probably not notice it as much in handling, but the tires will wear faster. At the very least, get on the ground infront of each fron tire and eyeball the alignment with the back tire, they should be very close to straight.

That's way too expensive for an auto Ti with a salvage title. There are better cars out there.
