I put a deposit down on a 95 318ti. Car was in pretty nice shape (not perfect, a few normal dings). There was one spot that had a bubble of rust but the underside of the car was pretty much clean and nothing else had rust. Ran fine, original owner, 90k miles. I paid under $5k and have some pictures attached. Just want to get some approval here . See link for pictures.

I don't think you made a mistake at all considering the milage original owner and the price you paid. Looking at that rust bubble, it looks to be in the middle of the panel a la shopping car or car door. If the previous owner did not take care of it properly it is bound to rust in Wisconsin winters. Have it taken care of and any others, wash, wax and you'll be good. I don't think the ti is known to be a rust bucket ever.

And with a '95 you have an OBD1 engine, so you can actually chip it! I think anyways...

I'll trade you for a modded 91 318is with a 6 cyl in it
I'm on the lookout for a black/black '95 318ti for under 6k.
Anyway, nice lookin car. I wish it were mine :P

Now the problem is can you keep it stock or do you get mods to make it faster and handle better.

Sounds like you got a great deal!

I wish I could say i payed ~5000 for mine...I paid about 1.5k over that for a '95 w/90k.
Have fun with it! Is it your first bimmer?
