It's a black/black manual transmission with the sport package (4.10 LSD I believe). I can get photos up shortly. In general, the body is in nice shape, the interior is in nice shape except for a small worn spot on the driver seat. Car was running before I parked it for the past 9 months. If you have a question on a particular part, I can tell you to the best of my recollection the condition. Anyways, if you're interested in parts, drop me a line and I'll try to gauge my options here. Pictures will follow on Thursday. Thanks. Last edited by tsk; 10-05-2009 at 05:44 AM. | | | 09-09-2009, 11:27 AM | #2 | Senior Member Join Date: Feb 2009 Location: new york Posts: 511 | Rear bumper. I think the factory lsd was the same 3.45:1 ratio. If that's what yours is, please let me know your price. Let me add more details as I can recall them. Last 7 of the VIN are AM51183, so you can check on realoem if it has what you need. The car ran till I upgraded to a newer BMW, and parked it planning to fix what needed to fix before selling it. As it happened, it just sat for about the past year. Things I recall were wrong: transmission popped out of first, guibo was bad, right side quarter was dented (I have a replacement panel that needs to be painted), rear springs are broken on last turn, and the driver seat is worn through. There are probably other things I'm forgetting but if you ask about a part it will probably jog my memory. Body and interior are good except what was mentioned. The lone Hartge wheel on the front is only there because I hadn't gotten to taking the coilovers and wheels off that point yet. I have the complete set of the original wheels not that I think anyone wants those. I also have the coilovers listed in another thread. I'm looking to strip it and sell fairly quickly (I don't want this lingering) and get it hauled away. That means I probably don't want to strip it to the last bolt. I am located in SE Wisconsin, and I will also be traveling to Ann Arbor, MI in the first week of October. I'm willing to travel within a few hours of my home, or meet up along the way to MI if people would want. If anyone has any advice on the logistics of parting it out, I'd appreciate it. Also, if you want a large part, please give me some idea on what you're thinking about for shipping. I can ship freight if need be, but that seems like it will be costly. Photos are below. I will try to respond to people early tomorrow (going to be tied up the rest of tonight). http://keidl.net/tobias/ti/ti-1.jpg http://keidl.net/tobias/ti/ti-2.jpg http://keidl.net/tobias/ti/ti-3.jpg http://keidl.net/tobias/ti/ti-4.jpg http://keidl.net/tobias/ti/ti-5.jpg http://keidl.net/tobias/ti/ti-6.jpg http://keidl.net/tobias/ti/ti-7.jpg http://keidl.net/tobias/ti/ti-8.jpg | | | 09-09-2009, 08:25 PM | #8 | Member Join Date: Jul 2009 Location: New Jersey Posts: 93 | if 1996 318ti ny doesnt buy your bumper, PM me a price.
