Default Brakes

Hi,

Well phase I of work is done on the 318ti. I have replaced the front end with M3 brakes, spindles and suspension and in the rear I swapped a '00 M Roadster rear end (diff, half shafts, brakes, etc.) So now I have a proper suspension, brakes and drive train for a future engine swap.

Now my question. When one upgrades to a brake system like this the original master is sized for the old small brakes. We used a '95 Master Cylinder to make up some of the difference but due to putting this into the stock booster the brakes still require some extra travel before they kick in. Its like the stem on the master is a little too short (probably due to the different depth of the booster). So the pedal feel is fine and the braking is great but the pedal just has more play in it before the brakes really engage. If anyone else has done a true brake swap like this can they share what they did with the master/booster/brake pedals to deal with this?
