Yeah, I think with H&R, you have to go with the part number, not necessarily color, since there are many colors depending on application and when they were made.

The H&R's I have sitting in a box for my ti are sport and are purple, but the ones on my Camaro are black, and I've heard of H&R's coming in green, red, black, purple, yellow, and dark blue.

GL on the sale...

I dont consider $100 including shipping an offer...thats a LOWBALL.

I have an offer in and around what I am looking for...how about the first $175 including shipping?

Like I said...just expect these to show up as "like new".

Ill give you 125 shipped, thats a very reasonable offer, once any carpart is even purchased it loses about 1/2 its original value to begin with. Go on bimmerforums and compare spring prices...

Whats with posting offer's dude?

That's what PM is for...

Last time I checked the seller decides what a reasonable offer is! Your probably one of those guys that says as soon as you drive a car off the lot its worth half as much as well???

....because it is worth a significant amount less, its a known fact..once a car is titled its value decreases.

And yes the seller can put any price he/she wants. Good luck selling it on this forum though, most people are educated as to the going price of parts.

Oh and here is a similar add for 7 years ago, in canada as well, same thing your selling, guy wants $100 usd..usually stuff goes down in price over the years as well, but we won't figure that into our equation here...http://www.dtmpower.net/forum/bmw-pa...ngs-318ti.html

plus...the springs RETAIL for 249, you can find them for less than that...

xeno, you don't know the condition of those 7 year old springs... and at new 7 years ago, the price of metals was also cheaper, so a new set of H&R's 7 years ago may have only been a couple hundred bucks...

and its not like this guy is selling springs he has had on the car for that time. He posted pics, and they look fairly new to me.

Besides, he just said $175 CDN dollars.

$1 USD = about $0.81 CDN

stop being such a twat. When I sell my H&R's.. ill be looking for close to the same.
If you don't want to save $100, then buy new and stfu.

hah, take it as you will man, springs go for ~150 used. Thats all they are worth. Look on BF.C

Its not going to ruin my day if I don't get them for what they are worth. I can wait. I bought another h&r sport pair to install on my buddies Ti three months ago for $115 shipped.

LOL...7 years ago.

Moving on...yes, they are "used" I guess. But as Philly says some guys would like to buy something that has been test fitted, and then taken off, no reason why those parts aren't worth more than half.

I do most my buying selling for my E30 race cars on race forums...A guy will race on wheels for a couple seasons and still get 50%-65% for his stuff if its in good shape...these particular springs were barely mounted. Anyone who is looking at new H&R springs would love to stumble on these for $100 less...you kidding me, they were test fit and removed???

It just wont be you Xeno!

FIRST $150 US (including shipping) gets them, please end my agony!

As of today,

$115 USD = $132 CDN (we also don't know the condition of these springs you mention)
$150 USD = $172 CDN (as you said ~USED)

So he was looking for $175 CDN for near new... pretty good if you ask me... but please do a currency conversion next time you decide his price isn't right.

Just noticed the CDN dollar is surging now @ $.86! SWEET! lol I can buy from the US without a total ass raping again!
