I need a set for my 318ti project, but thought we might be able to put a few people together and have some tabs made which would save quite a bit of $$ over paying $150 something for them. Let me know if there is any interest. I can draw something up quick and get a quote, but if no one wants them I might as well just buy them off the shelf (have to make quantity to cut the cost down) TAftonomos@gmail.com | | | 09-24-2009, 05:34 PM | #2 | Senior Member Join Date: Oct 2008 Location: Phoenix AZ Posts: 121 | Ohhh man lame! I'm very interested in a set of these but I'm going to be doing my bushing/diff/abs/spring replacement this weekend. I'm hoping the tire wear will be acceptable with the H&R 29970 and stock camber and toe. __________________ I always tighten them before I loosen em, that's a trick that my father taught me. | | | 09-24-2009, 05:57 PM | #3 | Senior Member Join Date: Apr 2007 Location: Elizabeth City, NC Posts: 3,877 | I'm interested. __________________ ~Dave~ 98 328ti Morea Grun slicktop 11 128i space gray slicktop 13 JGC WK2 Deep Cherry Search | RealOEM | | | 09-24-2009, 07:03 PM | #4 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2003 Location: Saint Paul, MN Posts: 3,244 | I have some CNC connections, send me a copy of the drawing and I'll send it to my friends for another quote. __________________ My Former Rides 1999 318ti Alpine White, Cali Roof, Dinan goodies 1996 318ti Hellrot California Edition | | | 09-24-2009, 08:27 PM | #5 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2008 Location: Sacramento Posts: 245 | Add me to the list. | | | 10-05-2009, 09:35 PM | #6 | Senior Member Join Date: Apr 2006 Location: Oxford, Ohio Posts: 868 | I made drawings and put a parts list together for the eccentric bolts. Not looking for cheap grade 5 type stuff. I'm pretty sure if you can get the plates made, we can get the bolts at McMasterCarr for a good price. I love that place for hardware.. | | | 10-07-2009, 02:32 PM | #11 | Senior Member Join Date: Apr 2009 Location: Atlanta Posts: 159 | I was going to use the OEM eccentric bolts, but if you can get something else cheaper then all power to ya! I should have a quote back today on these things | | | 10-07-2009, 02:43 PM | #12 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2003 Location: Saint Paul, MN Posts: 3,244 | Quote: Originally Posted by dave45056 Phil, I just sent you a iges file. | Got it. Are you making them now too? | | | 10-07-2009, 03:45 PM | #14 | Senior Member Join Date: Apr 2006 Location: Oxford, Ohio Posts: 868 | These just need to be made from mild steel. Also, the bolts are eccentric so no McMaster today. I bought mine from the dealer and they cost about 40 bucks for all of them. Part numbers needed are: 33321095102 - Eccentric Bolt M12 x 98 33321092310 - Eccentric Washer 33326751446 - Flange Locking Nut plus the plates of course. | | | 10-07-2009, 06:29 PM | #15 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2003 Location: Saint Paul, MN Posts: 3,244 | Quote: Originally Posted by cracker red I'm confused, I was the one posting about having these made. If you're solid on your connection go for it! __________________ My Former Rides 1999 318ti Alpine White, Cali Roof, Dinan goodies 1996 318ti Hellrot California Edition | | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
