I have done only 1000km and the lights are telling me that I need an inspection. Is there a reason for this? | | | 03-07-2007, 01:41 PM | #2 | Member Join Date: Jul 2004 Location: charleston Posts: 67 | the inspection bars run off of preset miles driven, or gas consumed. so wichever you hit first, the certain amount of miles, or gas consumed it will make your like come on | | | 03-07-2007, 03:43 PM | #3 | Senior Member Join Date: Nov 2006 Location: Pittsburgh, PA Posts: 1,224 | it's not the mileage, i've put over 2k miles since I got my car a month ago and the lights are still green. | | | 03-20-2007, 07:16 AM | #4 | Junior Member Join Date: Mar 2007 Location: New Zealand Posts: 2 | So does the inspection light not relate to the oil change, but the full car inspection? | | | 03-20-2007, 01:28 PM | #5 | Senior Member Join Date: Nov 2006 Location: Pittsburgh, PA Posts: 1,224 | Actually, the indicator lights are for both a oil change and full inspection. The issue is that the preset timer almost never really matches up with when you actually need those things done. . .so you can treat them as pretty lights on your dash. | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
