I don't know how it works if you wanna import a car in US, what kind of papers and stuff you would need. I believe it's possible, not sure how much would cost you. If you get it somehow, you will probably have the fastest BMW in US plus it would be your favorite ti. They said in this video, that it is 0.2 sec faster than M3 0-60 and has 9 pounds per HP compared with 10 per HP for M3. Dream...

wow, that is really nice.

i've heard that shipping a car from another country that is NOT produced in america is a reeeeal pain. you have to do alot of tests, like emissions, crash tests, and other safety stuff. and also pay alot to get it through customs.

but ive heard you dont have to get all those tests done if you can find someone else who has imported one before, and use they're car as proof.

I just can't get into the head and taillight treatment on the e46 compact... and what's with that ghetto VIN number scratching out business?! Couldn't they just pop rivet a new vin plate on there... sheesh...

Mind you, I'd still love to drive the snot out of that thing
