Gonna have these brackets welded in on Saturday. I misplaced the bushings for the H & R sway bar, probably need to buy another set __________________ 1998 (July) 318ti, 5-spd OEM Armrest Blaupunkt Heidelberg CD50 CD Player/Compact Drive MP3 Player Diamond Audio 5.25" rear speakers Navman ICN 530 GPS BMWALARM.COM (with comfort settings) after market alarm system Magnecor 8.5mm wires M-Z3 Shifter/Momo Knob Burlwood Dashboard Stromung Exhaust X-brace Racing Dynamics Front Strut Bar Carbonio C.A.I. 17" Rial Rims Vader Seats/Heated/Lumbar Support M-tech Steering Wheel/Front Sway Bar/Front & Rear Bumper Depos/w 6500K Angel Eyes/6000K HIDs Clear Corners M3 Mirrors UUC Light Weight Flywheel/M5 Clutch/M3 Clutch Slave E28 3.46 LSD/Mcoupe Cover/E30 Flanges & Halfshafts UUC S.S. The welding could be $100-150.00. I hope less. Quote: Originally Posted by Panzer_M what did they cost? I had to choose as if I had a MZ3 coupe to get the part #. Are you gonna use the adjustable/greasable end links? (by accident) decided to put back the OEM front bar while keeping the new/stiffer rear & just like that the handeling improved 10 fold (no nose diving into turns)... not sure how exactly to explain it, except that it felt much more leveled & even keel in turns... stiffer rear end (vs. front & rear) made the whole car much more balanced. hoping it'll be the same thing with the this car... | | | 06-13-2007, 10:32 PM | #39 | doesn't care about you. Can't say I like it better or worse, but it doesn't seem to hurt any. Quote: Originally Posted by DustenT TC Kline recommends at stiff front bar (HR 28mm), NO REAR BAR, and 500/550 lb linear springs. The adjustable feature allows you to set them up correctly for proper loading. Seems my end links were rubbing my halfshafts at times, not sure when, but the halfshafts are scored from the end links. To make my life easier, I'm gonna have the shop mount and adjust the bar/endlinks, after they weld the brackets in.
