rear strut bars are ti-specific, and have no real effect on trailing-arm style suspensions, plus, I have to agree, those definitely look "cheap"

The front one won't work either because the intake manifold sits too high. Why would someone put such a worthless piece of crap in their engine bay? Those things look janky and I guarantee they're not functional. Sparco strut bar is the only way to go if you have an M44 or M42 IMO. Even still, an x-brace will give you better bang for your buck and it'll give a little protection to your oil pan as well.

FWIW, if you want to dress up your engine bay, wipe it down with armorall or paint or polish your valve cover and intake manifold or something.

i agree, thats what i plan on doing, polished intake and painted valve cover.
itll do alot more to the engine bay than a strut bar, and its cheaper and gives you a chance to replace old gaskets/parts.

well i was just posting it for those interested. Im actually looking for funtional strut bars. would an x-brace do the same thing or is it better to get a strut bar and an x brace. and if not for fuctionality i just love the way a Hartge strut looks. would it fit with an m44? if yes then i may invest in one of those. and where to get x brace?
