Default FogLight Help....

Hi.. I need HELP @

So I just recieved my new Foglights, But I have questions...
I will enclose pictures also....

What Kind of Bulbs do they take ?!?

And It did not come w/ a harness. what kind of plug would I need
to plug into the back of the foglight ?!? (pic enclosed)

I am probally just going to wire these w/ an inline fuse, relay,
and then instead of a switch going directly from the parking
light power ..... any thoughts on that ?!?

Any suggestions would greatly help... I did "search" and know about installation, but the main question is the PLUG, that I need for each side.

Pictures are in my gallery, but I still cant figure out how to get there.

OkAY I went to the local Junk Yard and fould a crashed up 318i, that had the plugs for the fog lights, they costed me 5.00, and from here I will buy just a standard wiring harness and mesh it in... I will have an inline fuse, a relay somewhere and I think I will wire it w/out a independant switch but instead directly inline w/ the parking lights, this way they will light and flash with my alarm as well as stay on w/ autostart.

Any ideas ?!?

-Robb...

p/s/ How do the h1's connect ?!? Where do the terminals connect to ?!?

Hi again, Just one Quick question....

When Mounting the fogs, the one end (the Pin/Prong) fits into the hole,
this I see... The other end has 2 holes in it.. Did you all use screws or
small bolts and nuts to hold that end in ?!?

Hello All....

Just wanted to Follow up, I got it all installed... !! YA !!

It took just over 2 hours, but I short cutted. I Just Clipped the harness in place. it was the 2 mounting pins, then 2 small Bolts and nuts in each light opposite side..

2 Adapters from junk yard for a 3 series for the lights, wired into a Walmart Universal harness, 4 wires to boh light pos and neg. going to a Relay, Relay positive to an inline fuse thaen batttery..... ground everything out, and I cut off the switch and took the Aux. lead into the parking lights wire...

This way it looks very professional, but there is no Cockpit switch, they just come on with the parking lightS BUT THATS OKAY... thats how I wanted them....

They do look GOOD!! and agressive... The front of my car looks too much better.

Thanks to everyone, thank you all...
