I believe the stock fitment was 5.25. Would there be much cutting involved, or something simple I can do with a dremel tool. However, I haven’t permanently installed the CD43 yet due to fitment issues. Seems like the deeper I slide the unit in the A/C panel seems to also sink in. Maybe HU wire harness need to be tucked in or ensure it is all clear before pushing the rest of the HU in. Definitely looking forward to what is entailed in modifying the kick panel to fit the 6.5. Thanks again. | | | 02-01-2010, 04:11 AM | #15 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2008 Location: Raleigh/Charlotte, NC Posts: 1,233 | Quote: Originally Posted by EuroJDMHB well idk about ur car but my car needed it my dome lights were dimming when the bass hit and yes the battery is brand new.. plus it was free | has nothing to do with battery, means your alternator is not good enough. capacitors do nothing once again. I am glad you think you know what you are doing, but I am an electrical engineer and I REALLY know how it works __________________ -Jeff | | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Thread Tools | | Display Modes | Linear Mode | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
