I like the way you used the "beauty line" on the side of the car as a border for the two colors and continued the silver around the front wheel well.

Did you add a black line between the 2 colors, or is it just the shadow of that beauty line?

When you put on the new moldings, will you paint them or leave them black?

I like the paint, it's hard to pull off a two-color scheme on the E36 tastefully.

Did you paint the door handle?

Something's wrong with your springs... you should look into that.

With moldings. I tried to approximate the black/gray color from the front molding, but I don't know how much darker new moldings will be.

I've never liked painting the moldings to match the rest of the car because it makes the car look a lot "thicker" without that horizontal line. Plus it looks like the owner/painter was too cheap or lazy to mask or remove the moldings prior to painting. No offense intended, that's just my general opinion on color-matched moldings.

Still... I'm not crazy about the look with moldings either. LOL I think you'd need to keep the moldings really black, or make the stripe a dark gray to match the moldings rather than black.

OK... I'll go obsess over something else now. LOL

I agree! It might also be interesting to make it a reflective silver. And I'm sure that somebody on here is thinking "lime green." Hmmm... might have to try that out too. LOL

Hey dguzzardo22... let me know if you want me to make other color options. I've got it set up so that I can easily change the color and the thickness of the line for both the stripe and the moldings.
