Default new ti owner...sloppy clutch (side to side)...

is this is obvious as it seems? pull down the underdash kick panel and tighten it up? I can't believe the damn thing is plastic. anyhow, is this a common occurrence?

BTW, I just took delivery of the Alpine 96 ti with M Technic plastic all over it and red club sport interior (leather wheel and all.) I'm happier than I thought I'd be. best car bucks I've ever spent.
